Our Bathroom Renovation Process
Working with us on one of our high-end bathroom renovations is a remarkably straightforward, if thorough process. We generate a schedule showing you every aspect of your bathroom creation from consultation to completion.

Stage 1: Consultation & Estimate
After a free site visit to familiarise ourselves with your space, we consult with you to identify your tastes and apply our design expertise. Once we have agreed on a vision, we generate a first estimate to let you know what we think your project will cost.
Stage 2: Product Selection & Quote Finalisation
If you like our estimate, we’ll attend your site to finalise the small but essential details (e.g. tile colours, fittings and fixtures) to determine a final price. We then provide you with our formal quote and a contract for signing.
Stage 3: Project Schedule
Balmoral will create and provide you with a comprehensive work schedule identifying all aspects of your project with clear expectations of how long we believe each phase will take.
Stage 4: Commencement
Starting with precautions to protect the rest of your house, we demolish your old bathroom and conduct our “first fix”, installing baths, pipework and running wiring. Following this will be rendering and waterproofing, including time for these to dry thoroughly.
Stage 5: Work Continuation
Work will continue with our tiler attending to lay a screed and installation of underfloor heating (if chosen). After tiling is complete, the shower screen will be measured and ordered and any necessary carpentry and painting will be conducted.
Stage 6: Finishing Touches & Clean Up
We will conduct a fit out to install taps, vanities, toilets and other fixtures. The electrician will finish the light switches and any other minor items. We clean the area thoroughly and install the shower screen as the final step. We’re all done!
