We provide a comprehensive project schedule outlining every stage of your bathroom renovation, so you always know what to expect. Where required, we can also arrange access to a professional stylist and 3D graphic imaging consultant to help visualise and refine your design before construction begins.

Stage 1: Consultation & Estimate
Your renovation begins with a complimentary site visit, allowing us to assess your existing bathroom and understand the unique characteristics of your space. During this consultation, we take the time to discuss your lifestyle, design preferences and functional requirements, applying our expertise to help shape a considered vision for your new bathroom.
Once a direction has been agreed upon, we prepare an initial estimate that provides a realistic indication of project costs, allowing you to move forward with confidence.
Stage 2: Product Selection & Quote Finalisation
If you’re happy to proceed, we meet with you to finalise the finer details that define the overall look and feel of your bathroom. This includes selecting tiles, fittings, fixtures and finishes that align with your aesthetic and budget.
With all selections confirmed, we prepare a detailed final quotation and formal contract, clearly outlining the scope of works and inclusions to ensure complete transparency before construction begins.
Stage 3: Project Schedule
Once your quotation is approved, Balmoral Bathrooms prepares a comprehensive project schedule. This outlines each phase of your bathroom renovation, providing clear expectations around timelines and sequencing.
Our structured planning allows the renovation to progress efficiently, while minimising disruption and ensuring every trade is coordinated with precision.
Stage 4: Commencement
On commencement, we take careful measures to protect the rest of your home before beginning demolition of the existing bathroom. Our team then completes the “first fix” stage, including the installation of baths, pipework and electrical wiring.
This is followed by rendering and waterproofing — a critical stage carried out to the highest standards, with appropriate drying time allocated to ensure long-term durability and compliance.
Stage 5: Continued Construction
With the foundations complete, work continues with the application of screed and the installation of underfloor heating where selected. Our tilers then carefully lay tiles with precision and attention to detail.
At this stage, the shower screen is measured and ordered, while any required carpentry and painting works are completed to bring the space together seamlessly.
Stage 6: Finishing Touches & Final Clean
In the final stage, we complete the full fit-out of your bathroom, installing tapware, vanities, toilets, lighting and remaining fixtures. Our licensed electrician completes all final connections and safety checks.
The space is then thoroughly cleaned, and the shower screen is installed as the finishing touch. With everything completed to our exacting standards, your new bathroom is ready to enjoy.
